With the celebration of the International Day for “the elimination of violence against women, in November 25, 2022 and on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022, the “Association Secular Palestine ” is working to draw the attention of the European Union public to the plight of Palestinian political prisoners in Israel and under the Syrian regime, by organizing a series of activities between Brussels and Paris on March 4, 5 and 6, 2022 .
During the long years of conflict with Israel, more than 16,000 Palestinian women (elderly women and minors) have been arrested in Israeli occupation prisons. Currently, there are 33 Palestinian female political prisoners in Israel and 107 Palestinian female political prisoners in Syria (34 Palestinian female prisoners died in Syrian prisons).
